2025 summer craft club and specialty craft clubs

Our Summer Craft Club at The Crafty Place runs from 9am-12pm, Monday - Friday, during select weeks.   We also offer Specialty Craft Clubs that are smaller and for children age 8 and up (Knitting, Crochet and Learn-To-Sew).  Scroll all the way down for details, to check availability and to register.

Our Craft Club is designed to allow children age 5-10 years old explore the vibrant world of art and crafting. Children will engage in hands-on projects from painting and drawing to making unique crafts using various materials.

We will focus on inspiring self-expression, creativity and most of all, fun! Each week will have its own theme that will be introduced at the beginning of each week.

Summer Craft Club will be led by Amanda Knowles, a local artist, art teacher, preschool teacher and mother of two boys. Amanda holds an MFA from Leslie University College of Art and Design and a M.A.T. from Tufts University and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. She has over 25 years of experience teaching art and has been making art her entire life. She is very excited to be joining The Crafty Place team this summer!

We will provide snacks however please send your child with a water bottle. 

Waitlists: If any of your desired craft club weeks are full, you can join the waitlist.  If a spot opens up, you will be contacted to register if you wish.

Cancellation Policy:

• Full refund: cancellations made 6 weeks or more prior to the start date.
• Partial refund: cancellations made within 6 weeks but no less than 2 weeks before start date will receive a 50% refund.
• No refunds: cancellations made less than 2 weeks.
